The City of El Paso observes the following holidays each year:
New Year’s Day Martin Luther King Holiday Cesar Chavez Day Memorial Day Juneteenth Independence Day Labor Day Veterans Day Thanksgiving Day Day After Thanksgiving Christmas Day
Due to the 2023 legislative changes to the Texas Public Information Act, under HB 3033, the City Manager, Dionne Mack, has designated the following dates as non-business dates during which the governmental body’s administrative offices are closed or operating with minimum staffing.
The City of El Paso designates the following days as non-business days for the year 2025 and 2026:
December 26 December 29 December 30 December 31 January 2
Any open records requests that are submitted from December 25, 2025, through January 2, 2026, the time that City Hall is closed, will be deemed received on Monday, January 5, 2026.
