The City Attorney's Office is responsible for Public Information Records Requests.

All requests must be made in writing.


Pursuant to recent changes to the Texas Public Information Act, under HB 3033, the Interim City Manager, Cary Westin, has designated the following dates as non-business dates during which the governmental body’s administrative offices are closed or operating with minimum staffing.

The City of El Paso observes the following holidays each year:

New Year’s Day
Martin Luther King Holiday
Cesar Chavez Day
Memorial Day
Juneteenth
Independence Day
Labor Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving Day
Day After Thanksgiving
Christmas Day

The City of El Paso designates the following days as non-business days each year, unless they fall on a weekend day:

December 26
December 27
December 28
December 29
December 30
December 31
